About Veerle De Graef
Veerle De Graef holds a PhD in bio-science engineering (2009, Ghent University, Belgium) and has more than 10 years experience as innovation and programme manager at Flanders' FOOD, focussing on innovation support projects for the agri-food industry. Her field of expertise is facillitating and accelerating the adoption of digital/ industry 4.0 innovations in the food processing industry. On a European level, she currently coordinates the I3 project HIGHFIVE and is the Established office of the Thematic Smart Specialisation Partnership 'SS4AF'.
