Blowgun 208 Detect

The 208 Detect blowgun is the world's first metal and X-ray detectable premium blowgun made of food-safe plastic that has been specially developed for the food and beverage industry. Therefore, all materials of the 208 Detect can be recognised by metal detectors and X-ray systems. Even the smallest splinters* of the plastic body or the lever can be recognised in the event of accidental breakage. The 208 Detect therefore helps to avoid the risk of accidental contamination and expensive product recalls. Its use also supports compliance with HACCP, IFS and BRC procedures.

Applications include blowing off, cleaning, drying (e.g. blowing off food residues from conveyor belts, equipment and utensils, air cleaning and drying containers); food packaging and vacuum sealing; carton forming, filling and sealing; food dehydration; dairy processing; meat processing and packaging.

*The size of the plastic parts that can be detected depends on the metal detector itself and the calibration of the detector. In our tests with a metal detector, we were able to detect pieces up to 2x2 mm in size.
