Main Stage Responsibility

Food security, sustainability, flexibility - These topics concern the industry. In the future, intelligent technology and efficient processes will have to enable increased productivity, find answers to changing consumer behaviour, and protect the environment and climate in the process.   

Responsibility in the food supply chain  

The main theme of the Anuga FoodTec’s programme was "Responsibility" (top theme Responsibility). At the main stage, you found cross-industry and sustainable innovations. The concept of sustainability met the responsibility to drive innovation and to operate responsibly in all processes of the value chain. Long-term success was promised by holistic approaches: from the supplier industry to global raw material procurement, packaging as well as production, logistics, and energy or water management.

• Deep Dive
  Immerse oneself: Keynote presentations showcasing future technologies, provide best practice examples, state of science and how-to tips.
• Open Expert Stage
  Have a say on the stage: Participants can take the free seat on the podium and join the discussion at eye level with the experts.
• Science Slam
  Explain complex topics entertaining: the slammers present their research in a short and scientifically correct way. The audience decides who wins.
• Content Pro vs. Contra
  Open up a new perspective: the competition on polarizing topics between two experts is evaluated by the audience.
