Plant iT on EcoStruxure Automation Expert: an integrated approach

Living Industry 4.0 and striving for Industry 5.0 is currently still an immense challenge. As part of Schneider Electric and with over 35 years of corresponding project and process expertise, ProLeiT sees itself as an important partner and source of ideas for our colleagues and customers in order to work towards sustainable, future-orientated production. A key element is platform- and protocol-independent automation, so-called "open automation" in accordance with IEC 61499. We use ProLeiT Plant iT in combination with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE) to show our customers how a hardware-independent, distributed software solution based on function modules can work. Plant iT on EAE also helps to rationalise engineering and commissioning processes and times, thereby shortening the path to Industry 4.x and efficiently exploiting the full potential of Industry 4.x
