The IP69K rating is achieved without using a sealed end-cover.
Timken ball bearing inserts feature stainless steel rings, balls and cages which makes them fully metal detectable and corrosion resistant.
The IP69K insert is available in combination with different housing materials including hygienic blue thermoset, cast stainless steel and hygienic stainless steel.
Housing types include pillow blocks, flanged and take-up units, as well as other options designed to fit any food and beverage application need.
MAINTENANCE FREE
Timken IP69K housed units are lubed for life with food grade grease. There’s no need to re-grease, resulting in minimal maintenance to the bearing.
IMPROVED FOOD SAFETY
Our seal and flinger material are FDA/EC compliant for direct food contact. Eliminating water ingress not only extends bearing life, but also reduces the risk of food contamination during production processes.
